Noelle Elizabeth Fandel Photo Album

Year one

Our daughter, Noelle Elizabeth Fandel, was born on April 24, 2004 at 5:22 AM. At birth, she weighed 8 lbs 7 oz and was 21.5 inches long.

Her birth followed a short but lively labor involving a hot tub, a Marcus Didius Falco mystery (which almost caused baby to receive a name like Milvia), waiting too long, some highly amused paramedics, an ambulance ride, the Unintended Hospital, and lots of people saying "don't push" while Heather insisted "I'm not! Oh, I am. Okay, 'don't push, don't push, uhhhhh!'"

These were taken in the first hours after she was born. Isn't that a cunning little hat she has on?
Here she is with Dad and napping along with Uncle Carl. Uncle Carl drove the car over while Dave rode along in the ambulance...
Both Heather and Noelle ended up getting swaddled after the birth . . .
Dave's parents visited on April 25th and on April 26th we took her home. She sure looked tiny in the carseat.
Apparently newborn babies sleep. A lot. In the carseat, in the bassinet, on the bed.
Under the laptop . . .
Please! No more pictures!
Hanging out with (or rather, on) the parents.
Happy and nekkid plus some cranky engineer training (by osmosis, of course).
Our little cowgirl. And wearing pink, even!
Two months old and filling that same carseat.
One fewer diaper to change.
At daycare.
Someone REALLY wants to sit (and stand)
There must be something about that red shirt that causes sleep.
That's her father's smirk.
Already playing with cash....
For Halloween she was a kitty..
Make that . . . a demonic kitty (awww, look, she has her father's red-eye)
Over Thanksgiving she took her first plane flight.
And she has started eating solid food now. And sort of drinking from a cup.....
She has a drawer of toys. We relocated the alphabet mat after Niccolo ate part of it and needed surgery.
Her first Xmas - 80% of the gifts were for her..
She will sleep in the most awkward places.
She loves the swings at the park
Noelle only drinks from a sippy cup now
At 10 months old - about time to get a new carseat :-).
It is the "stop taking pictures" look
